Returns & Defective Merchandise

General Merchandise Return Policy

Junction Hobbies and Toys is happy to assist in the return of merchandise purchased online. Returns must be in unopened, or resalable, condition and returned via shipping or in-person within 30 days of purchase. All returns must be accompanied with receipt or proof of purchase. Return payment will be issued in the form of which the item(s) were purchased. Customer is responsible for return shipping unless product is defective or damaged. Junction Hobbies and Toys reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions above.

Model Train Return Policy

Unopened train sets may be returned to Junction Hobbies and Toys within 30 days of purchase upon presenting a valid receipt for the item.

Train merchandise, including (but not limited to) locomotives, rolling stock, buildings and scenery, will not be accepted for return or exchange if the item is found to be modified in any way. Modifications may include decals, weathering or other alterations.

Defective train sets, locomotives or parts must be handled through the manufacturing company after 15 days of purchase. Below is a list of contact information that will assist you through this process.

To ensure a quick and easy process, please have your warranty card or proof of purchase on hand when calling the manufacturer.

Defective Digital Command Control products must be returned to the manufacturer for replacement.  Only unopened products will be refunded.

Defective & Damaged Merchandise Policy (Other than model trains)

Defective merchandise returns (other than model trains) require receipt for exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase. Junction Hobbies and Toys is responsible for return shipping costs if a product is verified to be defective or damaged. Please see return shipping policies for more details.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all costs related to return shipping, unless an item is damaged or defective. Once a defective/damage claim is validated, Junction Hobbies and Toys will reimburse customer for reasonable shipping costs. Junction Hobbies and Toys will only reimburse return shipping costs if the customer contacts the store prior to returning the item. Calls regarding returns should be made to 513-898-8078.

Junction Hobbies and Toys accepts no responsibility for user-initiated damage and/or loss of parts incurred during operation or use of product.

All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site are subject to change. Junction Hobbies and Toys is not responsible for inadvertent errors. When you place your order with us, you agree to the price and terms indicated on our website.
